TRAITS Paris is a French brand that specialises in creating scarves with a playful approach to colours and finely structured fabric. Founded by Barbara Platte in 1994, the brand's collections are exclusively manufactured in the south of France and are released twice a year. Barbara, who studied textile design at Hamburg’s Fachhochschule für Gestaltung and at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, has created fabrics, scarves, and accessories for the haute couture ateliers of Lapidus, Gianni Versace, Hermès, Helmut Lang, and Jil Sander. Gathering inspiration for her collections while traveling in northern Europe and in the Paris world of fashion, Barbara translates her ideas at her studio in the city's 14th arrondissement. These scarves are the perfect addition to any wardrobe, providing a touch of Parisian elegance and style.
