Launched in 2011, Meesha creates ethereal, unique and distinctive scarves that tell stories of Paris and New Delhi. Artful limited edition prints, and kaleidoscope colours combine to create each collection, which are imagined in Paris and produced in India with hand-dyed fabrics and embroideries. Designs draw inspiration from souvenirs, pictures, cultures and personal stories, resulting in truly exquisite statement pieces which can be worn and treasured again and again.
Phileas: By the end of the nineteenth century, many people were trying to break Phileas Fogg's record. In a contest between two American journalists launched in 1889, Elisabeth Bisland wraps around the world in 73 days, Nellie Bly raises the record to 72 days. The novelist George Francis Train's journey around the world in 1870 inspired Jules Verne, who lowered the record to 67 days in 1890.
